"Shabby Sugar Studios" is a combination of my love for photography, my passion for creating, and my quest to make a living while making things I love.
I have a love for vintage and all things shabby chic. I like mixing old chippy, rusty, falling apart things with a few somewhat nicer pieces. I love white in particular, and maybe because I'm lacking any female hormones in my house (besides my own of course), I like pink, can you tell?
I am married to a hilariously funny and charming man who keeps me laughing throughout this crazy journey of life. A sense of humour is right up at the top of my list, so I did pretty good. On the other hand, if he wanted a wife that is an amazing cook, and keeps her house spotless, or even pretty clean, ummm...whats wrong with rice and corn with every meal, and a bit of dust? ( not together though, I'm not that bad!)
Anyway...we have one healthy, handsome son, also a charmer who is a big ham (I wonder where he gets that from?). He makes both of us laugh on a daily basis, and he melts our hearts with love, and breaks them with how fast he is growing up (sigh/sob). We currently have only one furry family member (hint, hint), an adorable Great Dane whom our son named 'Pilot'. He's a big Mama's boy, and by big, I'm talking about 175 lbs! That's a pretty big lap dog, which he seems to think he is. I do love this beast so.
See what I mean about the testosterone? I'm thinking it might be time to add another, perhaps much smaller member to the furry category, and it must be a girl!
Chihuahua maybe?
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
